Although track seasons are a thing of the past for me, I’m now running in challenges called ” Tough Mudders” – 10-12 mile hardcore obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie while tackling obstacles such as 12 foot walls, underground mud tunnels, fire, ice-water, and 10,000 volts of electricity! Talk about aches and pains! I would have never even dreamed of getting through a race like that without my contacts posing a major problem … but now I don’t even give it a second thought! And the best part was how easy the entire LASIK process was for me. The procedure was completely painless, the staff was so nice and helpful, and they answered every question I could think of before I even had the chance to ask!
