Every day at Boling Vision Center, something remarkable happens. A grandmother regains the independence to drive herself to her grandchildren's games. A child sees the board clearly for the first time. An athlete steps onto the field without glasses or contacts for the first time in their life. A guest who came in worried leaves feeling genuinely cared for.
These are not exceptional outcomes. They are the everyday standard of a practice built around the belief that every person who walks through our doors deserves something worth calling amazing.

Vision Correction Stories
I could not be happier
Your vision after the surgery is even better than it is with corrective lenses or glasses, so I’m out there, out on the court seeing better than 20/20 which is a tremendous benefit for me. Dr. Boling came very highly recommended by Coach McGraw. I could not be happier with my ability to see after my LASIK!
The procedure was completely painless.
Aches and pains are a part of all college athletes’ every day lives; however, I didn’t realize that painful and annoying contact lenses didn’t have to be! I used to fight the constant irritation of contacts every day, worrying that they might fall out or tear … especially during allergy season. This is no longer a worry for me now that I’ve had my LASIK by Dr. Boling! Although track seasons are a thing of the past for me, I’m now running in challenges called ” Tough Mudders” – 10-12 mile hardcore obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test strength, stamina, mental grit, and camaraderie while tackling obstacles such as 12 foot walls, underground mud tunnels, fire, ice-water, and 10,000 volts of electricity! Talk about aches and pains! I would have never even dreamed of getting through a race like that without my contacts posing a major problem … but now I don’t even give it a second thought! And the best part was how easy the entire LASIK process was for me. The procedure was completely painless, the staff was so nice and helpful, and they answered every question I could think of before I even had the chance to ask! There’s a personal touch at Boling Vision Center.
Boling Vision Center took a lot of extra time to really answer my questions, return my phone calls, or take my phone calls right away. It just seemed like there was a lot of the personal touch that you don't find necessarily at other clinics. But I really did find it here at Boling.
After surgery, I can wear sunglasses and do stuff I could never do before!
I love it. My new vision is wonderful. It's so much fun to get out and wear sunglasses and do stuff that I couldn't have done before. Be in the wind with my convertible car, don't have to worry about my contacts drying out, I can see perfectly. It's wonderful.
Cataract & Surgical Stories
Dr. Dietrich treated me with respect and disclosed the process very clearly. He answered my questions and concerns. Everyone at Boling Vision was friendly and accommodating to my needs including dates and times for additional appointments. Professionalism and empathy displayed resulted in an increase in my confidence in their diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Truly, "Amazing Happens Here".
Dr. Walker is amazing. So patient and kind. Now that I am having cataract surgery. I have seen how organized and helpful that part of Boling is. Everything from the literature to individual meetings was so impressive. I thought I would be so worried, but they have done so well in explaining the process, I am excited to get it done!
After an eye issue cropped up, the ER got me into Boling the next morning. I was very happy with the staff who registered me and did preliminary testing, as well as Dr. Dietrich, who performed my exam. I would recommend Boling Vision Center to others. Very positive experience!

I have Fuchs' dystrophy, a condition that makes it harder to see at night or with bright lights. Dr. Richard Boling could not have been more graceful and patient in addressing my needs. When the time came for surgery, Dr. Boling performed the procedure expertly, and my vision is the best it has been in more than 40 years. He is also a very kind and ethical man with a great staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Boling for many years. I simply believe that he is the most talented and skilled ophthalmologist I have ever known. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with warmth and big smiles. The staff are amazing. The facilities are state of the art and even have their own cafe where you can enjoy breakfast or lunch while you wait. My visit there this morning was the best part of my day.

He is caring and does a terrific job answering questions and is extremely thorough! Jackie is a delight and so helpful - especially when it comes to helping with ordering contacts and any meds. They were absolutely amazing. The welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and most thorough eye exam I've ever had made it very clear why they are so popular. They addressed the reason for my very watery eyes, which I had always chalked up to allergies. I am so glad I decided to give them a try.

Loved everything about our visit!! Loved the vibe of the office. Everyone seemed very laid back/chill but still professional!! Dr. Egan was super nice and we felt very comfortable with him! I loved how he listened to my daughter and made her feel very involved. Also alol of the girls that helped us during our visit were very sweet and knowledgeable. 10/10 recommend!

She was professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly, made us feel that this procedure was the right choice. We had previously been to another facility and left unhappy. Our experience with Boling was the complete opposite.
