Undergraduate Education

Dr. Reilly earned her undergraduate degree with honors in Biochemistry and Genetics from the University of Western Ontario, a rigorous scientific foundation that continues to inform her evidence-based, analytically grounded approach to clinical care.

Doctor of Optometry

Dr. Reilly received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry, completing externships at the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, The Villages Outpatient VA, and Eye Surgeons of Indiana. That breadth of externship experience, spanning veterans' health, outpatient primary care, and surgical co-management, gave her a clinical perspective that is both wide-ranging and deeply practical.

Jack Bennett Endowed Fellowship Award

Dr. Reilly was the recipient of the Jack Bennett Endowed Fellowship award in 2017, presented for outstanding academic performance and a demonstrated commitment to the understanding of professional ethics in optometry. This recognition reflects not only her academic standing but the integrity and principled approach to care that define her practice to this day.

Residency in Primary Care and Community Health

Dr. Reilly completed her primary care and community health residency at Cherry Health Heart of the City Health Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, an experience that placed her at the intersection of clinical optometry and community health in ways that profoundly shaped her professional identity. Her residency work with underserved populations and complex primary care cases inspired her to pursue the ocular disease focus that anchors her practice at Boling Vision Center.

I feel incredibly humbled to be able to improve my patients' quality of life with better vision. Whether that be giving a child their first pair of glasses, or helping someone navigate a difficult ocular disease diagnosis, I strive to give my patients the care they deserve.

Dr. Reilly was born and raised in Canada, a fact she is happy to share alongside a clarification that surprises most people who hear it: she does not play hockey. She does, however, hold a black belt in Taekwondo, a discipline that reflects the same focus, dedication, and respect for the process of mastery that she brings to her clinical work every day.
