Valeda: A New Light to Fight AMD
Clinically proven light-based treatment designed to REDUCE and IMPROVE dry Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)
Are you worried about losing your sight due to AMD? You’re not alone, and there’s hope! If you’re living with dry Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), the Valeda Light Delivery System may be a great option so you can keep enjoying life’s most meaningful moments. You only get one set of eyes, vision loss is permanent; prevention is priceless!
What is Valeda?

Valeda is the first FDA-authorized treatment that uses light therapy to help improve the health of eyes with AMD and, in many cases, improve vision! It uses low-level light at specific wavelengths, also known as photobiomodulation (PBM), to target the retina and improve the function of retinal cells. Healthy retinal cells are essential for maintaining good vision and decreasing your chances of developing wet AMD and needing eye injections!
What Are the Benefits of Valeda?
The Valeda Light Delivery System offers a safe, non-invasive treatment option that is designed to help you:
- MAINTAIN and IMPROVE your vision affected by dry AMD
- REDUCES the chance of converting to wet AMD and needing eye injections
- Only FDA-authorized treatment for dry AMD
- IMPROVE retinal cell health that supports long-term sight and slows visual decline
- Feel COMFORTABLE during treatment – no shots, no drops, no surgery, no downtime – with many patients experiencing improved vision

How Does It Work?
As we get older, the cells in the back of our eyes can get tired and stop clearing out waste (drusen) the way they should. When drusen builds up, it can lead to vision loss. The Valeda system uses special light to reach these cells and give them a boost. This light helps reduce inflammation, gives the cells more energy, and keeps them healthy so they can get back to doing their job.

Less drusen = BETTER VISION!
